As-Siraat Sewing Machine project is an effort to initiate the spark of hard work in the souls looking for opportunities. It aims to empower daily wage earners to have more than their routine. One machine is delivered per month to someone who can use it for the wellbeing of her family. This project is unique as it focusses on regular assistance of needy families instead of one time aid through cash. It is one of the Islamic mannerism and etiquettes to earn with one’s own hand. Ahmedpur East was selected because the poverty and illiteracy rates are very high there. The people of the area have been denied the basic right of access to quality education. It was also selected as the logistics of working there suited Team As-Siraat.

Yes, it is registered as a high-level school.

As our team and resources expand, we would love to replicate the As-Siraat Public High School model in various remote and rural areas of Pakistan, with the cooperation of the local population.

Yes, our students of class 5 and class 8 appear and excel in Punjab Education Commission (PEC) board examinations every year. Matric students appear in the examinations held by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bahawalpur (BISE BWP).

Qualified and experienced faculty members are hired. They attend special mandatory training sessions which are conducted by the School. These training sessions focus on the following areas:
● Teaching style
● Subject guidelines
● Copy maintenance
● Planner making
● Activities layout
The training sessions are carried out using audio-visual aids. Regular meetings are arranged with the teachers, and their progress is assessed after intervals.

Ahmedpur East was selected as it is a rural area where a large chunk of the population lives below the poverty line. The plight of poverty-stricken patients can be witnessed at the government-run hospitals of the area, with their limited facilities and capacity. It was also selected as the logistics of working there suited Team As-Siraat.

As-Siraat Dar Al-Shifa is expected to open its doors by March 2022.

No, it will be heavily subsidized.

The following medical specialties will be available for the benefit of the patients: Medicine, Cardiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Respiratory, Nephrology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Dentistry.

Yes, 2 months before the start of Ramadan, you can share the address and complete details of any families in your vicinity who are genuinely in need of rashan for Ramadan. We will verify all cases, and will try to assist as many deserving families as we can, depending on our resources.

This project aims to empower deserving women and their families to escape the vicious cycle of poverty and helplessness. It seeks to maintain the self-respect of the recipients and enables them to become financially independent and secure rather than always being dependent on others. It initiates the spark of hard work in the recipients, and provides them an opportunity to help in supporting their households.

Team As-Siraat verifies that the recipient is:
● genuinely needy
● knows the art of sewing
● interested in earning through sewing

Master Ayub moved to Islamabad from Mandi Bahauddin in 1986 for his job at the Fire Brigade.

He initially started teaching a small group of approximately 10 children of katchi abadis. Overthe years, hundreds of underprivileged children have graduated from this open-air school, located in a public park in F-6.

Master Ayub sponsors his students to get further education from universities also.

He has received the Pride of Performance award for his efforts over the decades.

With the generous support of various donors, the school building has already been prepared and furnished. The bulk of classes are still primarily held in the park in F-6; the school building is used as-per-need.

Anyone who can dedicate time regularly for at least a  month, and has the ability and passion to teach any subject and class from Nursery to College can pitch in according to their abilities.
