Ahmedpur East is a rural area where a large chunk of the population lives below the poverty line. The plight of poverty-stricken patients can be witnessed at the government-run hospitals of the area, with their limited facilities and capacity.

As-Siraat has envisioned to establish As-Siraat Dar Al Shifa, a micro hospital with primary care and diagnostic services, to serve the under-served population of Ahmedpur East with free and quality treatment.  The aim is to provide subsidized, international standard diagnostic services and treatment to the people of the area. Patients will have access to multiple qualified and specialized doctors under one roof.

The hospital will consist of a basement, ground floor and first floor. The following medical specialties (OPDs) will be available for the benefit of the patients: Medicine, Cardiology, Obstetrics & Paediatrics, Pulmonology, Nephrology & Urology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Dentistry.

Treatment center having a dialysis unit with 4 – 8 beds will also be established. Emergency department will comprise of acute basic ER facilities, a minor OT and a 4-8 bed ward. Laboratory diagnostic services will be provided for Pathological, Hematological and Radiological tests.

The hospital will also have nutritionists/dieticians, opticians and an in-house pharmacy.

The first floor will be dedicated to state-of-the-art mother and child care. It will have state-of-the-art labor and delivery rooms, neonatal and general nursery, neonatal ICU, Gynae and Paeds wards and private rooms.

CCTV and surveillance systems will be installed. Doctors, patients and attendants will be provided facilities of masjid and cafeteria.
