Preparations for the Ramadan Charity Program begin two months before the start of Ramadan. With the help of donors and volunteers, Ramadan Rashan packs are prepared and handed over to hundreds of destitute families before the start of the month of Ramadan.

The packs are distributed to needy families in several cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Okara, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Ahmedpur East, Abbotabad, Peshawar, Tarbela, Sargodha, Mansehra, Azad Kashmir and Karachi.

Medicines for IDPS
Who are IDPs?
An internally displaced person (IDP) is someone who is forced to flee his or her home but who remains within his or her country’s borders. They are often referred to as refugees, although they do not fall within the current legal definition of a refugee.

Pakistani IDPs
Due to Pakistan’s army’s operation in North Waziristan, a great number of people had to move to relief camps. IDPs are mainly concentrated in the country’s north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) (up to 1.5 million), but also live in Balochistan province and other parts of Pakistan (up to 275,000).

Problems faced by IDPs
They sacrificed their homes and health for the safety of other Pakistanis. The mental trauma of leaving one’s own home space and living in open areas is very comprehendible. They have been facing a list of problems including the big problem bad health.
